General Terms and Conditions<\/h2>\n

Effective:<\/strong> from 8 September 2026 until withdrawn.<\/p>\n

These General Terms and Conditions (the \u201cTerms\u201d) set out the conditions of purchasing in the plastify.hu<\/strong> online shop operated by Plastify Kft. (the \u201cSeller\u201d). Please read them carefully before placing an order. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms.<\/p>\n

The language of the contract is Hungarian. The contract is concluded electronically, does not qualify as a written contract, is not filed by the Seller and cannot be retrieved later. The Seller has not signed up to any code of conduct.<\/p>\n

2. Products on sale<\/h3>\n

The shop sells Plastify\u2019s own-brand 2.2-litre refillable drinking bottle, its 2-pack and 3-pack, and a spare cap. The detailed description, material, capacity, cleaning and safety information (GPSR product safety notice) of each product is on the product page.<\/p>\n

Capacity:<\/strong> the nominal capacity of the bottle is 2.2 litres. The top mark of the embossed scale on the side of the bottle is at 2 litres; filled to the brim it holds roughly 2.3 litres. This follows from the design of the product and is not a defect.<\/p>\n

Cleaning:<\/strong> the bottle is hand-wash only and is not dishwasher safe. It is not suitable for hot liquids.<\/p>\n

Product photos may differ slightly from reality depending on your screen settings (e.g. colour shade). The content of the shop (images, texts, logo) is the property of the Seller and may only be used with permission.<\/p>\n

3. Prices<\/h3>\n

Prices are shown in Hungarian forints, are gross prices and include 27% VAT. They do not include the delivery cost or any cash-on-delivery fee; these are itemised on the checkout page before you confirm the order.<\/p>\n

Quantity price:<\/strong> if at least 6 of the 2.2-litre bottles (colours may be mixed) are ordered at once, the unit price drops automatically to 3,810 Ft per bottle (3,000 Ft net). The discount appears in the basket and does not apply to the packs or the spare cap.<\/p>\n

The Seller reserves the right to change prices; a change does not affect orders already placed. In the case of an obvious pricing error (e.g. 0 Ft or a price grossly out of line with the market price) the Seller is not obliged to sell the product at the erroneous price; in such a case it informs the Customer without delay, who may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it.<\/p>\n

4. How to order<\/h3>\n

  1. Choose the product and the colour (for packs, per bottle), then click the Add to basket<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
  2. In the basket you can check and change the quantity.<\/li>\n
  3. When ordering products sold by the Checkout<\/strong> page enter your billing (and, if different, delivery) details and choose the delivery and payment method. For parcel-point delivery, select the pickup point on the map.<\/li>\n
  4. You can review the order summary (products, delivery fee, cash-on-delivery fee, total) before submitting; input errors can be corrected in the fields.<\/li>\n
  5. After accepting the Terms and the Privacy Policy, submit the order with the Place order<\/strong> button; the order entails an obligation to pay<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. For card payment the system redirects you to SimplePay\u2019s secure payment page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    By placing an order the Customer makes an offer. The Seller confirms receipt of the order by automatic e-mail; this confirmation constitutes the conclusion of the contract. If the confirmation does not arrive within 48 hours, the Customer is released from the offer. Please also check your spam folder and, in case of a problem, write to plastify@plastify.hu.<\/p>\n

    Orders can be placed without registration, as a guest.<\/p>\n

    5. Payment methods<\/h3>\n

    Card payment (SimplePay).<\/strong> Through the SimplePay system operated by OTP Mobil Kft. (1143 Budapest, Hung\u00e1ria krt. 17\u201319.), with Visa, Mastercard and Maestro cards. The Seller does not receive or store card details; payment takes place on SimplePay\u2019s secure page.     Data transfer statement:<\/em> I acknowledge that the following personal data stored by the data controller Plastify Kft. (8095 P\u00e1kozd, HRSZ 067\/28) in the user database of plastify.hu will be transferred to OTP Mobil Kft. as data processor. The data transferred by the controller are: name, e-mail address, telephone number, billing address details, delivery address details. The nature and purpose of the processing carried out by the processor are described in the SimplePay Privacy Policy at the following link: https:\/\/simplepay.hu\/adatkezelesi-tajekoztatok\/<\/a><\/p>\n

    Cash on delivery.<\/strong> You pay the courier or the parcel point on collection. Cash on delivery is available up to an order value of 50,000 Ft<\/strong> ; above that, payment is by card. The cash-on-delivery fee is 590 Ft for MPL home delivery; at FoxPost lockers 300 Ft (orders under 15,000 Ft) or 2% of the order value (from 15,000 Ft). At FoxPost lockers payment is by card only.<\/p>\n

    Bank transfer in advance is not available at the moment.<\/p>\n

    6. Invoicing<\/h3>\n

    The Seller issues an electronic invoice for the purchase in the Billingo system (Billingo Technologies Zrt.) and sends it to the e-mail address given with the order. For company purchases, tick \u201cCompany invoice\u201d at the checkout and enter the company name and tax number; the invoice cannot be changed afterwards.<\/p>\n

    7. Delivery<\/h3>\n

    We deliver within Hungary only. Delivery methods and fees:<\/p>\n

    Free delivery applies exclusively to FoxPost locker pickup for orders from 12,000 Ft (the 3-pack already qualifies); for other delivery methods the list price is charged.<\/p>\n

    Products in stock are handed to the carrier within 1\u20133 working days of the order confirmation (cash on delivery) or the successful payment (card payment); delivery usually takes a further 1\u20133 working days. We notify you by e-mail when the parcel is dispatched, with tracking. For locker pickup, FoxPost or MPL sends the pickup code by SMS and e-mail; the deadlines above are governed by the carriers\u2019 current terms.<\/p>\n

    Please inspect the parcel on collection. If the packaging is damaged, ask the courier or the parcel point for a damage report and let us know. The absence of a report does not exclude a warranty claim, but it makes proof harder.<\/p>\n

    If the Customer does not collect the parcel and it is returned as a result, the Seller may charge the cost of redelivery or withdraw from the contract.<\/p>\n

    8. Right of withdrawal (14 days)<\/h3>\n

    Under Government Decree 45\/2014 (II. 26.), a Customer who qualifies as a consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days<\/strong> of receiving the product. For several products the period starts with receipt of the last product. The right of withdrawal may also be exercised between the conclusion of the contract and receipt of the product.<\/p>\n

    How:<\/strong> by an unambiguous statement sent by e-mail (plastify@plastify.hu) or by post (8095 P\u00e1kozd, HRSZ 067\/28), or using the model withdrawal form in Annex 2 of the Decree (see the end of these Terms). The deadline is met if you send the statement within 14 days.<\/p>\n

    Return:<\/strong> the product must be returned or handed over to the Seller\u2019s address above within 14 days of notifying withdrawal. The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the Customer<\/strong>; parcels sent cash on delivery are not accepted.<\/p>\n

    Refund:<\/strong> the Seller refunds the full amount paid by the Customer, including the delivery cost (except the extra cost of a delivery method more expensive than the cheapest one offered), within 14 days of learning of the withdrawal. The refund is made by the original payment method, or for cash-on-delivery purchases to the bank account given by the Customer. The Seller may withhold the refund until it has received the product back or the Customer has provided credible proof of having returned it.<\/p>\n

    Diminished value:<\/strong> the Customer is liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product. Trying the bottle (handling it, screwing the cap on and off) does not diminish its value; normal use (drinking, filling) does. For a damaged, scratched or used bottle the Seller may deduct an amount proportionate to the diminished value from the refund.<\/p>\n

    Customers who are not consumers (companies, sole traders) have no right of withdrawal.<\/p>\n

    9. Warranty for defects, product warranty, guarantee<\/h3>\n

    Warranty for defects.<\/strong> In the event of defective performance by the Seller, the Customer may assert a warranty claim under the rules of the Civil Code. You may request repair or replacement, failing which a proportionate price reduction, or \u2014 as a last resort \u2014 withdraw from the contract. For consumers the claim may be asserted within two years<\/strong> of performance; for one year after performance it is presumed that the defect already existed at the time of delivery. Please report a defect without delay after discovering it, and within two months at the latest.<\/p>\n

    Product warranty.<\/strong> In the case of a defect in movable property, the Customer may \u2014 at their choice \u2014 assert a warranty claim for defects or a product warranty claim against the manufacturer (for the Plastify bottle, the Seller) within two years of the product being placed on the market. Under a product warranty only repair or replacement of the defective product may be requested.<\/p>\n

    Statutory guarantee.<\/strong> The mandatory guarantee under Government Decree 151\/2003 (IX. 22.) does not extend to the products sold, owing to their value and nature.<\/p>\n

    Voluntary replacement guarantee (1 year).<\/strong> The Seller offers a voluntary replacement guarantee on Plastify bottles bought on plastify.hu for one year from the date of purchase:<\/p>\n
